Price Loebner Artificial Intelligence, of 100,000 dollars given to that person or group which will create a computer that can carry a conversation with a human being in such a way that the person not be able to identify whether he is talking with a computer or another person.
The winner of this year called "chatbot Rose" who competed against three rivals to win the prize. Although the main goal is that the conversation be indistinguishable from that of a human being realized, it was not achieved. Korenspondenti technology BBC, Rory Cellan-Jones, who was one of the members of the jury, said that it took only three minutes to understand that chatbot Rose was not a man.
Creator Rose, Bruce Wilcox, said that chatbot is designed based on the personality of a 30-year woman who is a security consultant in the world of hacking. Despite that Rose was declared the winner the day of the award (as well as last year), giving a price of 100,000 dollars Loebner still remained unclear. Still unknown whether Wilcox will try again next year.
