For more than two years, Google has automatically improve the quality of photos that users upload to Google+. Starting now, Google+ will apply the same onto videos.
When Google thinks it can improve a video you upload, a notification will appear in your Google+ application that will ask you if you want to see the changes that apply.
Google engineer Tim Clair announced that this new option provides Google+ will improve the color, brightness and contrast. This feature will provide equipment Google+ Mac, Windows and ChromeOS. When you approve these changes, the application will display on both sides of the video screen before and after application. Many people can discuss about Google+ as a social network but no doubt when it comes to Google+ Photos all think that this is the most innovative and interesting aspect of this service.
Given that every day more and more people record video with their smartphones, Google is the moment to bring some of the technologies developed for photos and videos. Google has long offered a similar option to YouTube so users are likely to see a collaboration between YouTube and Google+. This innovation from Google comes days after Facebook announced that it had begun to improve the quality of images that users upload to the social network. It is not known whether this is just a coincidence or something intentional.
