What are the functions of the computer?

Computer (PC) is designed to realize the processing of information as desired or user request. For these reasons that a computer must realize some basic functions:
1. To receive information (input);
2. To prepare the information (process);
3. To turn the results of processing (output);
4. To memorize (memory) or maintain (storage):
         a) the information to be processed;
         b) the intermediate and final results;
         c) which will undergo processing information.
