Pocket is going to continue to be part of Firefox so do not worry. Two functionalities that would leave are groupings of websites open at once in the browser as well as themes.
"Clusters of websites have been an experiment to help users more easily to manage," said head of engineering at Firefox. He added that the reason for leaving is lack of popularity able to justify the hard work to maintain this functionality.
On the other hand, serious modifications in Firefox available in the form of classes will leave forever. Mozilla will provide some basic modifications such as color or icons.
In July, we learned that Mozilla will take away from the use of programming languages XUL and XBL in favor of new technologies that are widely adopted by developers who build Web content.
We are aware that this transition will be difficult for users of Firefox. While Mozilla goal of the initiative "Faster" is to improve the performance of Firefox we hope these radical changes do not remove the permanent worshipers browser.
