Competition but legal battles between the two giants of the smartphone market, Apple and Samsung, comes and intensified. On Thursday, the Court of Appeal took a decision in favor of Apple, thus closing a legal issue between the two companies that had lasted long.
Court forced Samsung to pay Apple $ 120 million for violating patents held by Apple, dealing mainly with the details of the functioning of the iPhone. Apple claimed that Samsung used the patents on which it was not fair.
Apple went farther demanding the withdrawal from the market of devices that are built based on its patents. This is a severe blow to the Korean smartphone giant. The company has said it will appeal the decision. Through a press release, Samsung said it will provide its customers that their products are authentic and will continue to be available in the market. Apple on the other hand said that the company is only defending the tedious work behind the construction of its products.
