A few weeks ago, Intel introduced processors Skylake who has called the sixth generation. But why do you think the company has labeled them as such? If Skylake then is the sixth generation who may be the first generation?
Intel has revealed that the processor of the first generation Core i5-655K was 'Clarkdale' for computers and "Arrandale" for laptops, for which very little has been heard. It was a two-core processor, which was introduced alongside the Core i7-980X processor. Graphics cores are those that designate generation of a processor. For the first time in Clarkdale and Arrandale, Intel integrated graphics cores in a processor. Until then placed graphics cores in a graphic processor separately. Skylake is therefore called sixth-generation processor and fourth-generation Haswell.
Remember that the processor generations have different meanings for different people. For example there is a first-generation Pentium and Pentium 4 of the same generation. But when you hear that Skylake the sixth generation is aware that Intel refers processors that contain integrated graphics chips.
