Finnish hardware manufacturer has started to make the first orders for the tablet Jolla. The company run by the founder of Samsung, introduced the tablet last year and after a successful campaign financing has decided to bring it to market. This tablet comes in two versions; 32GB version that costs US $ 267 and the 64GB version which costs 297 dollars. Deliveries will begin in September to European countries, USA, Canada, Australia and India.
In terms of hardware, you show that this tablet has a 7.85 inch screen and is powered by a 1.8GHz processor Intel Bay Trail. At the back is situated a 5-megapixel camera, while the front camera is 2 megapixels. The operating system is the platform built by the company itself, sailfish 2.0. This operating system is used and smartphone launched by Jolla in 2013.
For the sake of organization and efficiency, the company announced in July that it would split its hardware department from that of software. This will enrich the ecosystem of its operating system Sailfish. In 2012 the company created Sailfish Alliance, a group of companies which will contribute by investing in the platform. Meanwhile Jolla last month made a deal with Indian manufacturer of phones Intex to use the operating system Sailfish.
