Just a year after the launch, Apple sold 10 million iPads full within a quarter. Given the success of the iPad and other manufacturers they tried to bring to the market such equipment but none of them managed to beat the iPad. For several years the tablet market was described as a monopoly that was owned by Apple.
But data released recently by the analytical firm IDC show that things have changed. The chart published by IDC obvious that iPad sales have fallen sharply, while sales of Samsung have increased slightly. It is noted that the tablet market today is dominated by a small number of manufacturers grouped together. Tablets of these producers account for about 60% of the market.
Among this group, Lenovo is the largest producer with 6%. Despite the collapse of the dominance of Apple can say that and tablet market as a whole is experiencing a bad period. Tablet sales have fallen by 7% compared with a year ago. Apparently customers are not as interested in large tablet screens when you may want everything in their smartphone.
