The future of the heat in our homes: A database stove. It might seem strange, but the term is now a reality. But what are these stoves data?
Have you heard of a Dutch startup called Nerdalize? It is an initiative which uses computer servers to heat homes. And the service is free.
At the beginning of the 2015, a company which produces energy recycled in the Netherlands has installed 5 startup cloud servers in several volunteer families for study purposes.
It's simple: data centers and computer equipment containing unimaginable generate heat. Even we have examples from the company known as Microsoft and Wikipedia who in the past have suffered intermittent service as a result of the high heat-generating servers.
Currently, the cost to maintain the optimum temperature of data centers is very high. A large part of the data centers use liquid cooling to control the temperature. Imagine that while many countries are suffering from the flood of data centers consume 460 million liters of water per year for this purpose.
Nerdalize concept is revolutionary. This startup is transforming our homes data centers. The impact that will have it's global. Millions of people across the world today are heated by wood stoves, and the solution offered by Nerdalize would reduce damage "lungs of the planet".
These data stoves have a big kink: Free online or no heating. This means that citizens should have an active Internet connection. Servers installed in the house require up to 1 hour to begin to heat up.
